"The orcs sent so many troops-two full-strength legions. Even if our entire Elven Expeditionary Burning Legion joined forces with Daelin's troops and we all attacked together, we might not be a match for them. How are we supposed to steal it?" Alleria asked.
"That's why... we need to plan this carefully. If brute force won't work, we'll have to use our heads." Yu Lin Bloodhawk pointed at his head.
"How exactly?" Sylvanas asked eagerly.
"Here's what we'll do..." The three huddled together and discussed their plan in hushed voices, oblivious to the darkening sky.
"I only have one concern: I don't know where the Black Dragon King is, or whether he's hiding in Grim Batol too. If we steal the Dragon Soul and he shows up, none of us will get away!" Yu Lin Bloodhawk said worriedly.
If Yu Lin Bloodhawk had been alone, he would never have dared set his sights on the Dragon Soul, not even under threat of death. But with two big bosses like Alleria and Sylvanas beside him, his courage had suddenly swelled.
"I have a town portal scroll," Alleria said. "Once we get it, we'll activate the scroll immediately. Even if Neltharion notices, he definitely won't be faster than us! Unless he's accompanying the excavation team himself."
"Then what?" Sylvanas asked excitedly. "Once we have the Dragon Soul, what then? What do we use it for?"
"Well..." Yu Lin Bloodhawk had only been thinking about claiming the artifact for himself. He really hadn't considered what he would do with it after stealing it.
"Exactly! What would we steal this artifact for? We can't use it to control the Dragon Aspects like the orcs do! That would bring utter catastrophe upon Quel'Thalas!" Alleria added.
