"Four hundred thousand people..." Lireesa Windrunner froze. What did a population of four hundred thousand mean? It seemed she would have to reassess Baron Bloodhawk from a different perspective.
Lireesa Windrunner considered the matter carefully for a while, then sighed. "I don't know whether your decision is right, and I can't change your mind now that you've made it up. Ah... Alleria, come with me."

The two went outside. Lireesa Windrunner mounted a dragonhawk, while Alleria mounted a gryphon she had tamed in the Hinterlands and followed Lireesa Windrunner's dragonhawk toward Windrunner Spire.
Once they reached Windrunner Spire, Lireesa Windrunner led Alleria to a secret chamber.
"Mother, this is..." Alleria asked in surprise.
This was the most heavily guarded place in Windrunner Spire. None of the sisters had ever been permitted to enter.
"Come with me!" Lireesa Windrunner walked up to the secret chamber and recited a magical incantation. Pale blue arcane light shone from her hands. She pressed them against the chamber door, and soon the stone door turned into a vortex resembling the void.
Lireesa Windrunner straightened, stepped into the vortex, and vanished. Alleria followed without the slightest hesitation.
The moment Alleria entered the vortex, she felt as though she had stepped into another time and space. The secret chamber was enormous, not nearly as small as it looked from outside.
Seeing Alleria enter, Lireesa Windrunner turned and continued leading the way. After walking a short distance, she opened three more small doors before finally reaching a very small secret chamber.
There was only a stone table in the small chamber, with a Rectangular Wooden Box resting on top.
