By the time Yu Lin Bloodhawk and the others woke up, it was already six in the evening. Someone from the Wildhammer Dwarves' gryphon camp came over to tell Yu Lin Bloodhawk that Marshal Lothar had decided to meet with them the next morning.

Marshal Lothar still had business to attend to that afternoon and might be busy well into the evening, so he hoped to meet the two lords, Mez'dra and Yu Lin Bloodhawk, at around ten the next morning.

Although Lothar had said "around ten," Yu Lin Bloodhawk and Mez'dra both understood perfectly well that this actually meant ten sharp. They had therefore best arrive at Lothar's command tent at precisely ten the next morning.

Of course, neither Yu Lin Bloodhawk nor Mez'dra could arrive early or late. Arriving right on time was best. If they came early, they would have to wait, which would subtly diminish their standing.

Neither of them wanted that. Besides, waiting for someone was no fun at all! Mez'dra in particular had no patience for it. If he had to wait outside Lothar's door to be summoned, he would rather not meet Lothar at all.

Arriving late was even less acceptable. That would show disrespect toward Lothar, the Alliance's Grand Marshal, and leave a very poor impression. With someone petty and narrow-minded, it might even have serious consequences.

Their meeting was not a private gathering. Each of the three men represented a different power, so arriving either early or late would be a mistake. Arriving on time was the only proper choice.

The same held true in reverse. If they reached Lothar's command tent on time but Lothar failed to receive them promptly, that would reflect poorly on him as well. His best course was also to meet Mez'dra and Yu Lin Bloodhawk
