With personal guidance and a training plan tailored by Sylvanas, the foremost Ranger, Yu Lin Bloodhawk had improved so quickly that he had begun to grow complacent. He felt he had hit another bottleneck.
He kept grumbling to himself about how few skills he currently had. If he had all the Hunter skills, wouldn't he be a major boss himself? During one training session, Sylvanas came to instruct him and keenly picked up on his complacency.
Sylvanas called him over and asked, "Do you think you've gotten pretty good now?"
Yu Lin Bloodhawk said, "I feel like I've hit some sort of bottleneck. It's very hard to improve any further through practice."
"Is that so?" Sylvanas sneered. "Then what skills are you best at right now?"
"Wing Clip and Disengage!" Yu Lin Bloodhawk said after a moment's thought.
He hadn't just blurted that out. He believed he had given it careful consideration before answering. He thought Sylvanas's question made it obvious that she intended to test him. But who would dare show off their shooting skills in front of the Windrunner Sisters? It was better to name something other than shooting.
"Fine. Use Lacerate and Disengage against me. Don't worry, I'll limit myself to your level of strength too," Sylvanas said with a sneer.
"You said it. No going back on your word," Yu Lin Bloodhawk said.
I'm not that bad, am I? She's even limiting her strength! Even if I can't succeed every time, I should have at least a seventy- or eighty-percent chance, right? I just hope this girl doesn't get angry if she embarrasses herself.
"You talk too much!" Sylvanas said.
Yu Lin Bloodhawk stopped holding back and suddenly unleashed Lacerate at Sylvanas. He was standing right in front of her, and he believed this surprise attack
