Then, with feigned concern, Yu Lin Bloodhawk reminded His Majesty King Terenas to take care of Lordaeron City's security. If necessary, Quel'Danil could provide a certain amount of military support.
However, Yu Lin Bloodhawk also made a point of stressing in the letter that, although Quel'Danil could provide troops, it currently had to deal with both the fighting within Quel'Thalas and the battles in the Durnholde Region, while also diverting large quantities of war supplies to provide Lothar with provisions and military necessities. Quel'Danil was already doing everything it could, so it might not be able to send very many troops. He hoped His Majesty King Terenas would understand, and so on...
After finishing the letter, Yu Lin Bloodhawk had a Gryphon Rider Bodyguard deliver it, giving him detailed instructions before he left.
Yu Lin Bloodhawk wanted a share of the credit for rescuing the king, but he was unwilling to pay too much for it, much less send large numbers of troops to fight and die. That was why he had deliberately emphasized that Quel'Danil was currently handling two fronts while providing vast quantities of war supplies to the Allied Army Main Force.
In essence, it was the classic routine of flaunting one's achievements, then making a great song and dance about one's enormous difficulties, before abruptly changing tack: ah! If you were in trouble, for the sake of the Alliance, I would fight for you even if I had to pawn the clothes off my back!
