The Ghoul lunging straight at Yu Lin Bloodhawk was cleaved in two from bottom to top in midair. When it hit the ground, its foul-smelling entrails spilled everywhere. Even its sharp-fanged head had split in half like a sliced watermelon.
"What a blade!" Yu Lin Bloodhawk laughed heartily and strode forward.
"My lord!" Seeing Yu Lin Bloodhawk about to step into the swarm of Ghouls, all the Gryphon Rider Bodyguards cried out together, trying to stop him from venturing into danger alone.
They knew nothing about AoE farming or gaining experience. All they knew was that the City Lord would face danger on every side the moment he stepped out.
Uncommon armor could indeed protect Yu Lin Bloodhawk to a certain extent, but it was hardly invincible. It certainly would not work as he had claimed, leaving the Ghouls unable to gnaw off a scrap of metal even if they broke their front teeth trying.
Although Ghouls attacked with their teeth, they were not entirely mindless. They certainly would not be foolish enough to bite the armor on Yu Lin Bloodhawk's body. They also had a pair of hard, sharp claws, which were scarcely inferior to their fangs.
Had Yu Lin Bloodhawk become full of himself? Of course not! Had he spotted an easy opportunity outside and come out to farm experience with AoE attacks? That was even further from the truth!
Yu Lin Bloodhawk did not know whether AoE farming would earn him experience, but he knew that going out to do it always carried some danger. He saw no easy pickings here. Quite the opposite: all he saw was danger-danger that could cost every one of them their lives.
