"Old Charlatan, what exactly are you getting at with all those snide remarks? Spell it out!" Yu Lin Bloodhawk snapped, unable to hold back. A vague sense of foreboding had crept into his heart.
"Nothing. What could I possibly be getting at?" The Old Charlatan ambled along, shaking his head and sighing. "Ah, young people these days! Such shamelessness. Exchanging loving glances in front of all those people was bad enough, but giving each other tokens of love without even blushing? I just feel sorry for the one waiting at home! Ah, youngsters are so bold. I can't compete! I can't compete! I'm getting old! Getting old!"
The more Yu Lin Bloodhawk heard, the paler he became. The Old Charlatan had frightened him. Yu Lin Bloodhawk had never imagined that the old man was not only an expert charlatan, but also a consummate professional at twisting the truth and calling black white.
"Old Charlatan, stop twisting things and spouting nonsense! You know it wasn't like that!" Yu Lin Bloodhawk jumped up and shouted.
"I don't know!" The Old Charlatan shook his head and sighed. "How would I know? I'm getting old! An old man like me simply doesn't understand young people's affairs anymore! Some people have a beautiful wife waiting at home, yet they're always out chasing other women. They haven't a shred of conscience left!"
"You old fraud! Stop making those snide, veiled accusations! Don't think I don't know who you're talking about!" Yu Lin Bloodhawk was beside himself with anger. The old fraud's insinuations really had infuriated him.
"Did I mention anyone? No!" The Old Charlatan kept shaking his head and sighing. "This old man merely saw a few things that stirred his feelings and sighed over how the world has changed and people have lost their decency!"
