"Eldest Sister!" Vereesa called out to Alleria from a distance and jogged over, followed by an enormous white bear. It was clearly the rare elite beast Sylvanas had snatched from Yu Lin Bloodhawk-the Iceclaw Bear. Now, though, he was Vereesa's favorite pet.
"How are you doing? Holding up all right?" Alleria asked with a smile as Vereesa came up to her.
"I'm plenty strong!" Vereesa said with a grin, raising the longbow in her hand.
Alleria smiled. "Things may get rough for a while. We don't know how many orc stragglers will try to break through here. If we're lucky, the Orcs Main Force will break out through the Redridge Mountains, which would take some pressure off us. But if their main breakout is toward the Swamp of Sorrows, we'll be under a lot of pressure. So be careful."
"I know!" Vereesa said casually. "Oh, Sister, your suitor is here too. I just saw him."
"..." Alleria was baffled. "My suitor?"
"Yes! He even tried to say hello to me just now! But I ignored him!" Vereesa said, sounding a little annoyed.
"Heh!" Alleria couldn't help laughing. "Why would you do that? If someone wants to greet you, you should at least respond politely! You're the third young lady of the Windrunner family, a noble. That's very rude."
"I won't!" Vereesa pouted. "I don't like him!"
"..." Alleria was even more confused. "After all that, who exactly are you talking about? Surely you don't mean the Bloodhawk City Lord! I think he treats you both quite well!"
"Of course I don't mean Brother-in-law! I mean that Salayan! I ignore him, but he keeps finding excuses to hang around in front of me. Does he think he's handsome? Does he think I don't know what he's after? Hmph!" Vereesa said disdainfully.
