"Not necessarily!" Yu Lin Bloodhawk shook his head.
"Agree to their terms!" Yu Lin Bloodhawk called to Willyx. "But we have to see the captives before we withdraw!"
"Brother-in-law, why did you agree?" Sylvanas asked anxiously. None of their own people were missing. The enemy was clearly lying.
"They might have captured Night Elves rather than High Elves!" Yu Lin Bloodhawk said gravely. "Night Elves look much like us High Elves. The centaurs might not be able to tell us apart!"
"Night Elves? ...Why should we rescue Night Elves?" Sylvanas demanded indignantly.
Seeing Sylvanas's indignation, Yu Lin Bloodhawk sighed inwardly at how deep the hatred between High Elves and Night Elves ran. So many years had passed, yet the two sides were still sworn enemies, each wishing the other would die out completely.
"Let's rescue them anyway! We're all elves, after all. Perhaps we'll need their help someday." Yu Lin Bloodhawk sighed.
The centaurs still wanted to haggle with Yu Lin Bloodhawk, but he ignored them. After all, the High Elves held an overwhelming advantage. A few dozen Night Elf hostages were not enough leverage to make him offer any substantial concessions.
