"Really?" Sylvanas grew interested too. "Let me try."
As she spoke, Sylvanas cast Fel Absorption and Conversion Magic on the Satyr. Unlike Yu Lin Bloodhawk, her understanding and application of magic were far more practiced. A spell that took Yu Lin Bloodhawk some time to prepare formed naturally with a casual wave of her hand.
She had watched Yu Lin Bloodhawk use Fel Absorption and Conversion Magic on the Satyr, mainly to test its effective range and general effects, so he had not actually drained much energy from the creature. What Sylvanas wanted to test now was how much improvement an ordinary Satyr could provide. Yu Lin Bloodhawk was notoriously clueless about magic, and she had always doubted any conclusions he drew about its finer details.
So, disgusting as she found the Satyr, she still had to conduct the experiment herself. When it came to anything involving magic, she trusted herself more.
The Satyr kept howling, but no one cared anymore. They could not even be bothered to curse back or mock him. No one regarded him as an intelligent humanoid now. Perhaps they considered him even less than a beast-more a monster, and a thoroughly revolting one at that.
Unlike Yu Lin Bloodhawk, Sylvanas did not hold back and slowly drain the Satyr's fel while carefully studying every change in her own body during the process. Sylvanas was ruthless. She drained his fel rapidly.
Thus, the Satyr's venomous, wicked stare and frenzied roars soon turned to fear and pleading. But his pleas were doomed to be useless and ignored. As time passed, his voice gradually weakened, and his whole body grew feebler. By the time Sylvanas had exhausted his fel and the spell naturally stopped because there was nothing left to drain, the Satyr looked like a sick man
