"Pass the order! The troops are to advance at full speed!" Grommash Hellscream made up his mind. "We must reach our destination before nightfall."

Before the signalman could acknowledge Grommash Hellscream's order, the adjutant beside him asked in confusion, "Chieftain, why give that order all of a sudden? The men have already been marching hard for a full day and night."

Grommash Hellscream frowned in displeasure and glanced at his adjutant. He disliked anyone questioning his words, even if that person was his adjutant, the man closest to him. It made no difference. "Carry out the order!"

Grommash Hellscream spoke coldly, offering no explanation, because he did not believe he owed his adjutant one.

He, Grommash Hellscream, was the chieftain of the Shattered Hand Clan. It was not some adjutant's place to tell him what to do. His word was everything. His word was law.

Grommash Hellscream's adjutant froze for a moment. He knew his chieftain was deeply displeased, but the troops were already exhausted after marching for a day and a night. Forcing them to march at speed now would practically kill them, wouldn't it? So he steeled himself and spoke again. "Chieftain, the troops have been marching since yesterday afternoon, without stopping even through the night. The warriors are already exhausted. If we force the pace now, I'm afraid..." He dared not finish, trusting that Grommash Hellscream would understand what he meant.

But he had completely failed to grasp what was going through Grommash Hellscream's mind. Instead, the adjutant received an order that he found utterly unreasonable. "Relay my order immediately, or you can stop being my adjutant!"

Grommash Hellscream's words were ruthless and resolute. The adjutant dared not say another word. He even felt that if he did, Grommash Hellscream might kill him outright.
