After leaving Feralas, Yu Lin Bloodhawk led the fleet back along the same route. Without Onyxia, that female dragon, causing trouble along the way, the return voyage went smoothly and much faster.
When they led the fleet into the former Gadgetzan pirate shipbuilding yard-now Quel'Danil's Second Shipbuilding Yard-renovations were in full swing everywhere. The Air Force officer in charge was tearing his hair out over the shortage of workers. There were far too many places that needed work, from the shipbuilding yard to the docks, from living quarters to all manner of public facilities. Every last one needed manpower. But they simply had too few workers. The Valley of Trials had sent them very few centaur prisoners, because Trial Valley was also undergoing renovations and was too short-handed to send any more. They had only the pirate prisoners originally captured in the yard. Whenever those proved insufficient, they went outside the valley to capture some Gadgetzan pirates, but that was nowhere near enough for such an enormous undertaking.
Yu Lin Bloodhawk's fleet arrived and unloaded several hundred simple-minded, strong, obedient ogres, much to the delight of the local Air Force commander. Although these several hundred ogre laborers greatly eased the pressure, they still weren't enough.
The Gadgetzan pirate shipbuilding yard looked small on the map, but in reality, it occupied the entire area enclosed by a semicircular mountain range. With so many things the high elves wanted to build, even that space seemed insufficient.
Yu Lin Bloodhawk learned about their plans and walked through every construction site. Finally, he sighed helplessly and said, "Build the most important things first! At least get the base operational. Once I get back, I'll find a way to transfer some more human refugees here to help you. We're running out of time."
