Ch. 1Ken Kaneki

Ken Kaneki reunited with Yuji Itadori and his classmates, gave them warnings and gifts tied to the coming Shibuya Incident, and left with Yuko Ozawa after asking her to take her family to China. His friends were left worrying about his safety as they opened the gifts at Jujutsu High.

  • Ken Kaneki met Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki, and Yuko Ozawa after they left a café, and he gave gifts to Megumi and Nobara.
  • Kaneki told Itadori to retrieve his gift near Shibuya between October 31 at 23:40 and the next day at 24:30, bringing a girl who matched one of his requirements.
  • Kaneki warned Itadori that he might not return, told him his parents were in China, and asked him to look after them; Itadori promised Kaneki would come back alive.
  • Kaneki learned that Ozawa's family had recently moved to Tokyo and urged her to take them to China using a travel voucher he had arranged.
  • After Kaneki and Ozawa parted from the others, Megumi opened his gift and found expensive black coffee beneath the Kikufuku that Satoru Gojo immediately grabbed.

Ch. 2Kenjaku

Ken Kaneki met Kenjaku in Shibuya and traded information from his memories of the future for a chance to become a jujutsu sorcerer. After Kaneki revealed that Yuta Okkotsu would kill Kenjaku and Sukuna would defeat Satoru Gojo, Kenjaku demanded a Binding Vow to verify his claims.

  • Ken Kaneki met Kenjaku at Aoyama Cemetery, and Kenjaku said Kaneki did not meet the requirements to be a culling game player.
  • Kaneki demanded that Kenjaku make him a jujutsu sorcerer before he revealed how he knew about Kenjaku.
  • Kenjaku had Mahito use Idle Transfiguration to alter Kaneki’s brain, then the disaster curses left as Kaneki began explaining his memories of the future.
  • Kaneki told Kenjaku that he remembered seeing him in his memories and that Yuta Okkotsu would kill him, acquire his Cursed Technique, and later fight Sukuna in Satoru Gojo’s body.
  • Kenjaku inferred that Satoru Gojo had been unsealed and killed and that Sukuna had won, then demanded Kaneki make a Binding Vow to confirm his story.

Ch. 3Curse

Ken Kaneki left Kenjaku after learning that his Cursed Technique could acquire other sorcerers’ techniques, then prepared for the Shibuya Incident and used a Communication Puppet to guide Kento Nanami and Nobara Kugisaki. Satoru Gojo was sealed, and Nanami set out with warnings about the battles ahead.

  • Kenjaku decided to postpone killing Ken Kaneki until after sealing Satoru Gojo, while Kaneki left and confirmed his meeting had gone as planned.
  • Kaneki explained that his Cursed Technique could permanently acquire a technique by devouring a brain or temporarily acquire one by eating part of a body, and he chose Megumi Fushiguro’s Ten Shadows Technique as a target.
  • In Shibuya, Satoru Gojo entered the Curtain, killed Hanami, and was sealed by Kenjaku, but the sorcerers could not remove the Prison Realm.
  • Yuji Itadori announced Gojo’s sealing, and Kento Nanami arrived to rescue the injured Nobara Kugisaki from Haruta Shigemo.
  • Kaneki warned Nanami through a hidden Communication Puppet about Dagon, Mahito, and the transfigured humans, and asked him to follow whoever killed Dagon.
  • Kaneki reminded Nobara about his survival advice and wished everyone safe returns.

Ch. 4Prophecy

Yuji Itadori gave Toge Inumaki a Communication Puppet before Choso knocked him unconscious, while Dagon evolved and trapped Nanami, Naobito, and Maki in his domain. Toji Fushiguro killed Dagon and fought Jogo, and the chapter ended as Sukuna’s Finger unleashed a powerful aura across Shibuya.

  • Yuji Itadori heard from Ken Kaneki, gave Toge Inumaki a Communication Puppet, and then returned to fight Choso, who defeated him and saw a false memory of Yuji as his younger brother.
  • Nanami, Naobito, and Maki confronted Dagon, whose transformation culminated in a domain expansion that trapped them.
  • Megumi Fushiguro opened a hole in Dagon’s domain, allowing Toji Fushiguro to enter and kill Dagon with Playful Cloud.
  • Toji dragged Megumi out of the vanished domain and attacked Jogo, while Nanami’s group escaped and learned Toji was Megumi’s father.
  • Kaneki told Nanami that Jogo was about to leave, just before Sukuna’s Finger sent a powerful aura across Shibuya.

Ch. 5Cursed Technique

Ken Kaneki learned that Shoko Ieiri could not regenerate someone else's severed limbs, then rescued Megumi Fushiguro after Sukuna left him behind. He revealed that his cursed technique let him acquire techniques by eating a sorcerer's tissue and began eating Megumi's flesh while Shoko treated him.

  • Toji Fushiguro confirmed Megumi Fushiguro's surname before collapsing, while the others split up to handle the station and seek treatment.
  • Ken Kaneki asked Shoko Ieiri whether she could regrow severed limbs, and she explained that she could only heal existing tissue.
  • After Megumi Fushiguro began the Mahoraga summoning incantation, Kaneki urged him to hide in his shadow and stall for help.
  • Sukuna appeared with the unconscious Megumi, but Kaneki told Itadori to wake up, making Sukuna retreat to the battlefield.
  • Kaneki found Megumi, knocked him unconscious, and explained that eating a sorcerer's tissue let him temporarily acquire their cursed technique.
  • With Shoko's agreement, Kaneki sliced off and ate pieces of Megumi's flesh until his eyes began changing.

Ch. 6Subjugating Shikigami

Ken Kaneki subjugated Nue, Great Serpent, Toad, and Rabbit Escape while preparing for Kenjaku’s scheme in Shibuya. Kenjaku stopped Mahito’s Domain Expansion and forcibly absorbed him, realizing Kaneki had maneuvered events to make him act.

  • Shoko exhausted herself stabilizing Megumi Fushiguro, and Kaneki left after Naobito Zenin gave him advice on subjugating shikigami.
  • Kaneki defeated Nue with the Divine Dogs and his blade, then subjugated Great Serpent and Toad.
  • Kaneki trapped Rabbit Escape in a room and coordinated his shikigami to kill its marked original before time ran out.
  • Itadori, Kugisaki, Nanami, Maki, Todo, and Shinji pursued Mahito toward Kenjaku, then backed away to leave Mahito cornered.
  • Mahito attempted a 0.2-second Domain Expansion, but Kenjaku crushed him with Cursed Technique Reversal-Gravity and absorbed him using Cursed Spirit Manipulation.

Ch. 7Ten Shadows Technique

Ken Kaneki joined the battle against Kenjaku, who froze Itadori and the others and attacked Kaneki while Choso fought Uraume. Kaneki revealed the Ten Shadows Technique and nearly caught Kenjaku off guard, but Kenjaku recognized his technique and prepared to kill him.

  • Yū Shinji stopped Todo from swapping Kenjaku with the Cursed Spirit orb, and Kenjaku swallowed the orb containing Mahito.
  • Ken Kaneki arrived, but Uraume froze Itadori, Todo, Yū Shinji, and their allies while Kenjaku confronted Kaneki.
  • Choso attacked Uraume after discovering Kenjaku had ordered him to kill Itadori, while Kenjaku sent Cursed Spirits after Kaneki.
  • Itadori broke free of the ice and rushed to Kaneki as Kyoto Jujutsu High's reinforcements arrived and fired arrows and a sniper shot at Kenjaku.
  • Kaneki summoned a Great Serpent from his shadow and nearly caught Kenjaku, who recognized his Ten Shadows Technique; Kaneki tore free of the centipede spirits, badly wounded, as Kenjaku vowed to kill him.

Ch. 8Suguru Geto

Kenjaku used the Elephant God’s ability to prevent Kaneki from escaping or summoning Mahoraga, then blasted away his left arm and part of his torso. Kaneki fled into the shadows, and Yuki Tsukumo arrived as Garuda attacked Kenjaku and the regenerating cursed spirit.

  • Kenjaku used Kaori Itadori’s Anti-Gravity Cursed Technique and Gravity to attack Kaneki, but Kusakabe, Utahime, and Kaneki narrowly escaped his strike.
  • Kenjaku summoned the Elephant God, whose power redirected Kamo’s arrows and lifted Kaneki, Kusakabe, and Utahime into the air.
  • Kaneki tried to summon Mahoraga, but the Elephant God removed the ritual as an obstacle, and Kenjaku blamed him for failing to stop him from taking Suguru Geto’s body.
  • The Elephant God attacked Kaneki, but Yuki Tsukumo’s Garuda pierced it and interrupted its technique.
  • Kenjaku blasted through Kaneki’s left torso and arm, but Kaneki escaped into the shadows before Yuki arrived and Garuda struck Kenjaku and the regenerating cursed spirit.

Ch. 9Gravely wounded

Ken Kaneki was gravely wounded while fighting Kenjaku, and Arata Nitta’s technique kept him alive but could not heal him. After Kenjaku escaped Shibuya, Shoko could not treat Kaneki with Reverse Cursed Technique, leaving Itadori and the others to search for the crucial gift Kaneki had prepared.

  • Kenjaku recalled Elephant God after Garuda struck it, while Arata Nitta used his cursed technique to stop Kaneki’s bleeding and keep his injuries from worsening.
  • Kaneki spoke to Itadori and Kugisaki about his gift and the people he had helped, then lost consciousness; Todo said he was still alive.
  • Yū Shinji stopped Itadori from carrying Kaneki to Shoko until Kenjaku left, and Kenjaku escaped Shibuya with Uraume and the Prison Realm.
  • Itadori and the others brought Kaneki to Shoko, but her Reverse Cursed Technique could not heal him, so she tried modern medicine instead.
  • Shoko explained that Kaneki had likely been unable to leave Shibuya because the Curtain barred him, and Yū Shinji urged Itadori to find Kaneki’s life-saving gift.

Ch. 10Jujutsu Kaisen

The group searched Shibuya for Ken Kaneki’s hidden item and found his notebook inside a warm pork cutlet rice bowl. Kugisaki read Kaneki’s warnings about future deaths, the Culling Game, and Kenjaku, while the others stood guard.

  • The group reached Shibuya’s New South Exit and searched nearby collections of identical boxes for the hidden item.
  • Kugisaki opened a box containing a warm pork cutlet rice bowl and found a notebook beneath it, while Itadori took the meal.
  • Kugisaki read Kaneki’s warnings to keep Maki and Mai away from the Zenin Clan, protect Masamichi Yaga, and keep Panda out of the Culling Game.
  • Kaneki warned that Yuki Tsukumo would die protecting Tengen and that Uro would take over Tsumiki Fushiguro’s body.
  • Kaneki warned that Sukuna would take over Megumi Fushiguro’s body and urged the reader to protect Fumihiko Takaba and beware of Kenjaku.

Ch. 11May you live to a hundred

Ken Kaneki’s writings warned about Sukuna, explained ways to counter him, and foretold a future alien threat, while wishing Yuji Itadori a long, safe life. At the Shibuya toll station, Kaneki’s severed limbs and other missing body parts regenerated, and he regained consciousness.

  • Ken Kaneki’s notes described cursed spirits and detailed Ryomen Sukuna’s abilities, strengths, and weaknesses.
  • Kaneki’s writings explained how to separate Sukuna from his vessel and counter an Open-Barriers Domain, and showed how Sukuna took over Megumi Fushiguro and killed Satoru Gojo.
  • Kaneki predicted that aliens called Himlyans would threaten the world in 2086, and identified Yuji Itadori as the sorcerer who could oppose their strongest fighter.
  • Kaneki asked Okkotsu and Maki, or Satoru Gojo, to have children, then wished Itadori a safe life lasting to a hundred.
  • At the Shibuya toll station, Ken Kaneki’s severed arm and other missing body parts regenerated as Shoko and the others watched.
  • Kaneki’s vacant eyes regained focus and glowed scarlet.

Ch. 12Culling Game

After recovering from his injuries, Kaneki discussed the Culling Game and Kenjaku’s hidden plans with Yuki Tsukumo. Worried about the approaching decisive battle and their lack of power, he asked Yuki to give him an arm so he could acquire her cursed technique.

  • Kaneki thanked Arata Nitta for keeping him alive long enough to learn Reverse Cursed Technique, then exchanged contact information with him.
  • Kaneki reunited with Itadori and the others, asked Yuki Tsukumo to talk, and learned they had sent people to find Fumihiko Takaba.
  • Kaneki retrieved a copy of Jujutsu Kaisen with his Divine Dogs and discussed Open-Barriers Domains with Yuki, who said she needed more practice reversing a domain’s conditions.
  • Kaneki discovered that Kenjaku had not told Yuki about the Culling Game or remotely activated Idle Transfiguration, then explained the plan to merge humanity with Tengen.
  • Kaneki asked Yuki for an arm so his innate technique could acquire her cursed technique, arguing that he needed more power before the coming battle.

Ch. 13Star Rage

Kaneki explained what he had told Kenjaku and warned Yuki Tsukumo that Kenjaku might try to prevent Satoru Gojo from being unsealed. Yuta Okkotsu and Choso joined Kaneki and Yuki as they set out to find Tengen, with Kaneki outlining their plans for confronting Kenjaku.

  • Yuki Tsukumo gave Kaneki her arm to eat, then described her Star Rage technique and summoned Garuda.
  • Kaneki told Yuki what he had revealed to Kenjaku and identified Angel and Tengen's Back of the Prison Realm as ways Kenjaku could prevent Gojo's unsealing.
  • Kaneki said they should wait for Okkotsu and Choso, who could guide them to the Tombs of the Star Corridor.
  • Okkotsu and Choso arrived, and the four headed toward the Cursed Warehouse while Kaneki explained the future and their battle plans.
  • Kaneki's first plan was to reach Tengen, obtain the Back of the Prison Realm, and leave her behind; Yuki was surprised by the proposal.

Ch. 14The Plan

Kaneki laid out a plan to abandon Tengen and have himself and Choso confront Kenjaku, relying on Mahoraga as a contingency. After realizing Uraume might also arrive, he changed the plan and called for reinforcements as the group headed to the Tombs of the Star Corridor.

  • Kaneki explained that Kenjaku could absorb Tengen and that saving Yuki Tsukumo was more important than protecting Tengen.
  • Kaneki proposed that he and Choso fight Kenjaku while Okkotsu and Yuki Tsukumo stayed out of the range of Kenjaku's domain.
  • Kaneki revealed that he could summon Mahoraga but would need to begin a dangerous taming ritual, which would make Mahoraga attack both him and Choso.
  • Choso reminded Kaneki that Uraume might accompany Kenjaku, prompting Kaneki to revise the plan and consider starting the taming ritual if she appeared.
  • Kaneki contacted Yū Shinji and requested reinforcements, ultimately asking for Kusakabe or Nanami instead of Aoi Todo and warning that the operation could cost their lives.

Ch. 15Tengen

Kaneki and his companions reached Tengen in the Tombs of the Star Corridor to obtain the Back of the Prison Realm and discuss Kenjaku’s Open-Barriers Domain. Tengen gave Yuki Tsukumo the Prison Realm’s back and explained how her failed attempt to dismantle Kenjaku’s domain led to Yuki’s death in the future Kaneki had seen.

  • Kaneki explained that fate bound Tengen, the star plasma vessel, and the Six Eyes, so Kenjaku had chosen to seal Gojo after killing them failed to prevent the merger.
  • Kaneki, Okkotsu, Choso, and Yuki Tsukumo entered Jujutsu High, passed through the Cursed Storage and Tombs of the Star Corridor, and found Tengen’s Main Hall.
  • Tengen appeared and recognized the group, while Yuki Tsukumo directly asked her for the Back of the Prison Realm.
  • Kaneki told Tengen that he had seen the future and revealed that Yuki Tsukumo died in it; Tengen asked whether she could counter an Open-Barriers Domain.
  • Tengen said she could deal with the domain, gave Yuki the Back of the Prison Realm, and offered to send the group out if Kenjaku invaded.
  • Kaneki recounted the future, and Tengen explained that she had dispelled her Emptiness Barrier after realizing Kenjaku’s domain had no outer shell, leaving Yuki exposed to its sure-hit effect; Yuki Tsukumo’s nod convinced Kaneki of her account.

Ch. 16Barrier

Kaneki and the others decided to stay and protect Tengen, but Kenjaku found them before they could prepare. Tengen’s barriers thwarted their planned counterattack, and Kenjaku summoned Elephant God as Kaneki vanished into shadow and unleashed Rabbit Escape.

  • Kaneki warned that Kenjaku would avoid a direct fight if he knew Okkotsu had returned, and revealed Kenjaku’s influence within Jujutsu Headquarters and the Kamo Clan.
  • Kaneki tamed Round Deer with Star Rage, and the group agreed to stay and protect Tengen.
  • Kenjaku broke into the white space, prompting Tengen to send Okkotsu and Yuki Tsukumo through a doorway to safety.
  • Tengen explained that they had been in the main hall’s protective barrier, not an Emptiness Barrier, so their plan to trap Kenjaku’s domain could not work.
  • Kenjaku summoned Elephant God; Choso’s Piercing Blood was deflected, Kaneki slipped into shadow, and Rabbit Escape filled the white space with rabbits.

Ch. 17Special Grade

Ken Kaneki, Choso, Naobito Zenin, and Kusakabe fought Kenjaku, who overwhelmed them with cursed spirits and crushing pressure. Naobito and Kusakabe saved Kaneki from a fatal blow, and the group retreated while Kenjaku deduced that Round Deer had healed Kaneki.

  • Kaneki destroyed Kenjaku's special grade cursed spirit, the Elephant God, while Choso attacked with Piercing Blood.
  • Kenjaku sent a swarm of cursed spirits against Kaneki and Choso, knocking Choso down and forcing Kaneki to retreat.
  • Kenjaku crushed the surrounding cursed spirits and pinned Kaneki, then threatened to kill him unless Yuta Okkotsu or Yuki Tsukumo appeared.
  • Naobito Zenin and Kusakabe arrived and used Kusakabe's Simple Domain to weaken Kenjaku's crushing technique and protect Kaneki.
  • Kaneki recovered with Round Deer's Reverse Cursed Technique, and the three sorcerers withdrew as Kenjaku inferred how he had healed.

Ch. 18Mahoraga - An extra chapter for Oda Ichika of Lingju Palace

Kaneki and his allies summoned Mahoraga to fight Kenjaku in the Tombs of the Star Corridor. After Mahoraga survived Kenjaku’s Maximum Technique: Uzumaki and regenerated, Kenjaku tried to draw the shikigami toward the others, and they scattered to avoid facing it together.

  • A deer shikigami healed Naobito Zenin, and Rabbit Escape shikigami helped Kaneki, Naobito Zenin, and Kusakabe escape into the shadows while Choso stayed behind to fight Kenjaku.
  • Choso attacked Kenjaku with Piercing Blood and Supernova, then Kusakabe returned and weakened Kenjaku’s gravity technique with Simple Domain.
  • Kaneki summoned Mahoraga, which attacked Kenjaku and survived his Maximum Technique: Uzumaki after Kaneki appeared and drew its attention away from Kenjaku.
  • Mahoraga regenerated as its Dharma Wheel turned, and Kenjaku retreated while reinforcing his body rather than attacking it.
  • Kenjaku ran toward Choso, Kusakabe, and Naobito Zenin to lure Mahoraga toward them, so Kusakabe called for them to scatter.

Ch. 19Emptiness Barrier

Kaneki and Tengen’s allies tried to trap Kenjaku inside an Emptiness Barrier, but unexpected arrivals disrupted their plan and Kenjaku defeated Okkotsu’s domain. Tengen dismantled the barrier, leaving Okkotsu bloodied in the Main Hall as someone cried out his name.

  • Kaneki used a Rabbit Escape clone to stop Kenjaku from attacking Kusakabe, then emerged from the shadows to breathe as the barrier transformed into an Emptiness Barrier.
  • Okkotsu and Yuki Tsukumo prepared to fight Kenjaku, but Uraume, Mahito, and Tachibana Mio entered the barrier and disrupted their plan.
  • Tengen identified Tachibana Mio as a sorcerer from six hundred years ago whose Cursed Technique formed equivalent contracts.
  • Okkotsu and Kenjaku expanded their domains, and Kenjaku’s Womb Profusion destroyed Okkotsu’s Authentic Mutual Love while gravity pinned Mahoraga.
  • Kenjaku struck Mahoraga down, then Tengen dismantled the barrier and ended Kenjaku’s domain, leaving Okkotsu bloodied in the Main Hall.

Ch. 20Tachibana Mio

Kaneki and the others fought Kenjaku while Tachibana Mio and Yuki Tsukumo expanded their domains, which reached a stalemate. Kenjaku recovered his cursed technique and exploited Tachibana Mio’s boost to battle the group as Okkotsu and Rika moved to support Yuki.

  • Black Rika appeared to protect Okkotsu as Yuki Tsukumo and the others attacked Kenjaku, while Uraume froze several fighters and kept Kusakabe and Choso occupied.
  • Kaneki urged Yuki Tsukumo to expand her domain before Kenjaku could recover, and Yuki Tsukumo and Tachibana Mio opened their domains simultaneously, creating a stalemate.
  • Kenjaku recovered his cursed technique and used Gravity to pin Naobito Zenin and Choso, while Okkotsu completed healing his cursed technique burnout.
  • Kaneki, Okkotsu, and Black Rika attacked Kenjaku, who used Tachibana Mio’s cursed technique to increase his cursed energy and output before retreating behind a torrent of cursed spirits.
  • Okkotsu and Rika cleared the cursed spirits and went to support Yuki Tsukumo, while Kaneki, Choso, Kusakabe, and Naobito Zenin fought through the remaining curses.
