The Frog Prince was clearly anxious and had long since taken up his post at the cave entrance.
When he saw Zhao Xun appear, he sprang into the air and shouted, "I'm over here!"
He was terrified that Zhao Xun might fail to notice him.
Zhao Xun smiled and followed the Frog Prince into the cave.
He deftly took out the High-Powered Flashlight, flooding the cave with light.
The Frog Prince tilted his head to look at Zhao Xun's flashlight. "That thing of yours is really bright."
Zhao Xun merely smiled without responding.
The man and frog soon reached the stone chamber. Everything inside was just as Zhao Xun had seen it before.
The Frog Prince pointed at the Stone Trays and told Zhao Xun, "Put those three things in them."
Zhao Xun approached the Stone Trays and asked, "In what order?"
"Put the Glowstone in the middle," the Frog Prince replied. "The dew goes on the left, and the fireflies on the right."
Zhao Xun did as instructed.
The two glass bottles went on either side, while the faintly glowing stone went in the middle.
Once all three items were in place, the three Stone Trays suddenly sank in unison.
Then a series of clicks echoed through the stone chamber.
Zhao Xun looked up toward the source of the sound and discovered that the roof directly above the stone slab had opened.
Bright moonlight streamed in, falling squarely on the stone slab.
The Frog Prince leaped onto the stone slab and settled neatly in its very center.
"It's not time yet," he told Zhao Xun. "We need to wait a little longer."
"Then shouldn't you tell me what comes next?" Standing beside the three Stone Trays, Zhao Xun looked at the Frog Prince. "Otherwise, I might react too slowly
