Seeing John and Lilith getting lovey-dovey, Zhao Xun prepared to return to his room.

"Baby, you still haven't told me why you came to see me at this hour." As John spoke, he carried Lilith over to the sofa.
Seeing that he was no longer needed, Zhao Xun closed the front door and returned to the guest room.
Lilith's aggrieved voice drifted over. "My parents kicked me out. I really had nowhere to go, so I thought of coming here to find you."
Zhao Xun closed his door, but he could still hear John's concerned question. "Why did your parents kick you out?"
"I had a fight with them..." Lilith sounded downcast and unwilling to go into detail. She only said, "Thank goodness I have you, or I'd have to sleep on the streets."
"Oh, my poor baby. That breaks my heart." John kissed Lilith on the cheek and asked, "Have you eaten? I'll go buy you something."
