"Yeah." One of the burly men, the taller one, nodded and answered, "I'm pretty interested, so I wanted to take a look."
"Me too," the shorter burly man added.
"Then what would you like to learn about first?" Of the two elderly believers, the old man with the drooping mustache asked with a smile, "Our faith's Bible, the Lord's great deeds..."
Before he could finish, the tall man interrupted him. "I'd like to tour this church first."
"That's what I was thinking too." The short man chimed in, looking up at the sculptures hanging from the roof with an interested expression. "These sculptures are quite artistic. I'd like to appreciate them up close."
"Sir, you have an excellent eye!" The mustached old man looked delighted. "Come, come, let me introduce them to you one by one."
The balding old man beside him nodded repeatedly. "This gentleman clearly has a connection with the Lord."
And so the two burly men followed the two old men, listening to their explanations while examining the sculptures.
Whenever the old men weren't looking, complicated expressions flickered across the burly men's faces. Sometimes they abruptly squeezed their eyes shut for several seconds before slowly opening them again, or suddenly shuddered for no apparent reason.
Only when the old men looked at them did the two burly men stare intently at the sculptures, pretending to be especially interested while keeping their expressions and movements under control.
Clearly, looking at these bizarre sculptures had cost them quite a few sanity points.

Their aversion to these bizarre things ran bone-deep. Even Hypnosis couldn't cancel it out completely.
