At six in the evening, Litwick descended from the purple vortex in orderly rows, followed by a mass of Ghost-type Pokémon and spreading purple mist.

• Wang Yao asked Ye Qing if he could bring his mother to stay at the house, and Ye Qing agreed.
• Ye Qing spent the night watching patrols as authorities evacuated ordinary families and warned residents to stay indoors.
• The next morning, a dark purple vortex covered Shanhai City, and Old Master and Ye Qing’s Pokémon prepared for danger.

• News reports revealed that the purple mist was corrosive and affected the minds of humans and Pokémon, prompting Ye Qing to leave with Gardevoir.
