After a brief silence, the Silver Dragon Sword finally asked:
"How many do you want?"
Xu Taiping answered without hesitation:
"The more, the better!"
At that, the Silver Dragon Sword's Sword Spirit fell silent once more.
Only moments later, when the Demonic Beasts were about to break through the Sword Qi Barrier Xu Taiping had erected, did he finally speak:
"Very well!"
Xu Taiping grinned at his answer, then swept his hand and called:
"Come, come, come! All of you, come to me!"
No sooner had he spoken than thousands of Dragon Swords swept out of the Seven Lodges Treasury's exit overhead.
Xu Taiping did not simply grab as many as he could. Instead, he gradually increased the number of swords he controlled according to the damage the Dragon Swords sustained and the number of new Demonic Beasts.
Even so, within a dozen breaths, the number of swords under his control had risen from over thirteen hundred to a full two thousand.
For a time, piercing Sword Cries once again rang throughout heaven and earth.
The Sword Intent that the dense mass of Demonic Beasts had suppressed abruptly drove the layers of Sword Qi Barriers soaring skyward, battering aside the Demonic Beasts along with the power of origin they released.
Immediately afterward, Xu Taiping employed the Hidden Sword Art, sending Dragon Swords sweeping out from both sides of the Sword Formation and piercing into the swarm of Demonic Beasts.
Suddenly, the Demonic Beasts' once ironclad ranks began to be carved apart, bit by bit, by sword light.
In just a few breaths, Xu Taiping turned from defense to offense once again.
He even began to suppress those thousands of Demonic Beasts.
Naturally, the price of this shift to offense was even greater agony for Xu Taiping's Primordial Spirit.
And although
