Clang! At the critical instant, Lin Buyu's figure abruptly became a streak of sword light, and she slashed at the black lance.
Bang! Amid a tremendous crash, the black lance knocked the longsword straight out of Lin Buyu's hand.
"I'll do it!" Just as lightning flickered over Lin Buyu's arm and she prepared to summon Lin Buyan, ready to expose her identity to stop the lance, Xu Taiping roared and leaped into the air. Then, with a swish, he brought his saber down on the lance.
