Old Daoist Huang looked at the enormous clusters of netherfire over the Blood River and the black fish constantly leaping through them, his expression utterly solemn as he said:
"Now, only these two lines of the Wangchen Clan's song have yet to come true: 'Netherfire at the third watch lights Sunken Abyss; cold crows carry the Moon-Locking Key across.'"
"Everything else has come true."
After pondering for a long while, Xu Taiping suddenly summoned Xiaohei:
"Xiaohei, take us up above Lion Bridge for a look."
Hearing this, Old Daoist Huang's eyes immediately lit up, and he said:
"Indeed, perhaps we can find some more clues that way!"
As he spoke, a boom rang out, and Xiaohei immediately shot into the sky with Xu Taiping and the others on his back.
In the blink of an eye, they were a thousand zhang up in the air.
Had the demonic beasts and ghost corpses deep within these forbidden grounds not all been driven out by the hundred ghosts night run, Xu Taiping would never have dared let Xiaohei do this.
With that thought, he lowered his head to look down at Lion Bridge and the Blood River.
Then he saw that the clusters of netherfire burning at the tips of white bones were actually arranged in a spiral around Lion Bridge.
And the very center of that spiral lay directly beneath the arch of Lion Bridge.
Old Daoist Huang immediately said excitedly:
"Xu Taiping, the Sunken Abyss in the song should be beneath that bridge arch."
Xu Taiping nodded, a flash of excitement likewise crossing his eyes.
Then he gave Xiaohei an order:
"Xiaohei, take me beneath that bridge arch."
Xiaohei immediately answered:
"Yes, my lord!"
Even as he spoke, Xiaohei carried the three of them beneath the enormous
