When Xu Taiping and Lin Buyu returned to the Demon-Slaying Platform, a crowd had already gathered there.
Their arrival sent everyone into an uproar.
Xu Taiping asked in some surprise:

Lin Buyu was equally puzzled.
Just then, a woman's cool, clear voice suddenly came from beside them:
"Because when that invisible gravity struck to kill you both, all the images projected from the Seal Land cut off. No one knows what actually happened that day."
Understanding first dawned on Xu Taiping's face. Then, when he saw the woman beside him clearly, he exclaimed in delighted surprise:
"Miss Ning Shuang."
Though Qu Ningshuang remained expressionless, her gaze softened considerably, a rare sight, as she looked at Xu Taiping.
She nodded to Xu Taiping and said:
"Congratulations on both escaping your predicament, Daoist Taiping, Fairy Buyu."
Xu Taiping smiled. "Thank you for your concern, Fellow Daoist Qu."
Lin Buyu, beside him, merely gave a slight nod.
Just then, an old man approached Xu Taiping, leading a cultivator who looked like a young girl and a burly young man.
"Fellow Daoist Taiping, thank you for lending us a hand this time. Only with your help were Junior Sister Shuoxue and I able to escape."
Xu Taiping looked and saw that the newcomers were none other than Xiao Huang of the Ziyang Sect, Sword Venerable Yun Jiuyi, and Jiang Shuoxue.
He cupped his hands in return and said:
"You're too kind, Fellow Daoist Xiao Huang."
Sword Venerable Yun Jiuyi also stepped forward and said:
"It is no small matter."
As
