Ch. 3481A Grand Deduction, a Power That Could Subdue Ghost Creatures?
Xu Taiping questioned the Shadow Lord and learned that many human cultivators trapped in the Taixuan Ghost Domain had been killed or wounded, while ghost creatures grew stronger by consuming them. Blade Ghost and Xu Taiping suspected the domain held both a power that strengthened ghost creatures and another that could subdue them, and proposed using Heavenly Secrets Power of Deduction to identify the latter before entering.
- Xu Taiping questioned the Shadow Lord, who said she was a minor ghost from the Taixuan Ghost Domain’s outskirts and had escaped through a brief rift in its barrier.
- The Shadow Lord reported that a ghost creature had told her thirty percent of the human cultivators inside had been killed or wounded, and that ghost creatures who ate them had grown at least thirty percent stronger.
- The Shadow Lord said she knew no stable passage back into the domain, though brief, unpredictable rifts had allowed some ghost creatures to return; Blade Ghost sealed her in his Sixteenth Layer Blade Domain.
- Xu Taiping and Blade Ghost reasoned that the Taixuan Ghost Domain likely contained a power that rapidly strengthened ghost creatures, and possibly another that could subdue them.
- Xu Taiping suggested using Heavenly Secrets Power of Deduction to discover the subduing power before entering the domain, then Blade Ghost joined him in presenting the idea to Heavenly Lord Xuanbei and the others on a deserted island in Dongting Prefecture.
