The God of Kindness also cried out in surprise. Suddenly, realization dawned on her. "Could your appearance in the Divine Realm have something to do with Qin Xiao too?"
She remembered the God of Destruction saying that Qin Xiao had destroyed the Asura God Godhood and absorbed its power to forge his own godhood.
The Asura God Sword must have fallen into Qin Xiao's hands, yet the Dragon God now wielded it. What lay behind this was self-evident.
The God of Evil's pupils abruptly contracted, and a chill crept up his back.
If that was true, then all the gods of the Divine Realm had been played.
"As expected of the Divine Realm's God Kings. You haven't caught on too late."
A mocking smile appeared on Gu Yuena's face.
By now, the map had unrolled and the dagger lay revealed. There was nothing left to hide.
"What surprises me, though, is that you didn't side with the God of Destruction and the God of Life.
Why is that? Did you finally realize you were wrong back then?"
Faced with Gu Yuena's questioning, the God of Kindness and the God of Evil turned alternately pale and livid.
The God of Evil answered gravely, "Let's set right and wrong aside for now. We simply don't want the Divine Realm's people to suffer devastation again..."
"Hahaha! What a fine way to set right and wrong aside..."
Gu Yuena suddenly threw her head back and laughed, as though she had heard the funniest joke in the world.
"Since you won't distinguish right from wrong, let's judge it in the simplest way possible. The victor is always right."
As Gu Yuena's words fell, blood-red flames ignited along the Asura God Sword in her hand.
