Su Ling spent the afternoon at Liu Erlong's place, then took Zhu Zhuxin and the others to a fairly nice restaurant in Heaven Dou City that evening.
Their group of a dozen or so enjoyed a lavish dinner together.
When they returned that night, Su Ling called Zhu Zhuxin aside and invited her to his room.
Zhu Zhuqing and Ning Rongrong both understood what Su Ling intended to do.
Although Zhu Zhuxin felt embarrassed, Zhu Zhuqing and Ning Rongrong kept insisting that she had to go, saying that Big Brother Su wanted to give her a fortuitous opportunity.
But what sort of opportunity was it?
With her heart fluttering in uncertainty, Zhu Zhuxin knocked on Su Ling's door.
Why am I nervous? Zhu Zhuxin wondered.
"You're here, Zhuxin. The door isn't locked. Come right in," Su Ling said.
"Okay!" Zhu Zhuxin pushed the door open, then closed it behind her.
Su Ling said, "Don't be nervous. There's something I forgot to give you."
With that, Su Ling took out the Soul Tool that had originally belonged to Zhu Zhuxin and handed it to her.
"Big Brother Su, Situ Lie Feng took this Soul Tool from me. How did you get it?" Zhu Zhuxin asked in confusion.
She had not asked much about that battle. They had spent the past month traveling, and since Su Ling had not mentioned it, she had not asked.
Su Ling said, "Taking the Soul Tool back was easy enough. But I forgot to give it to you on the road. I hope it's not too late now."
"Thank you, Big Brother Su. It's not too late." Zhu Zhuxin took her Soul Tool and checked it, discovering that everything she had spent over a month transcribing was still inside.
"Big Brother Su, thank you."
