A year after arriving on Longqinus, Jiang Hai finished his training at East Dragon Magic and Martial Arts Academy and decided to seek a way back to the Douluo Continent. Jianan and Qin Xiaoxiao asked to travel with him, and he agreed to take them toward the place where he first appeared.

• Jiang Hai defeated Ye Gong in a Flame Funeral clash, and Ye Gong warned him about the Kevin Family and East Dragon before he left the academy.
• Jiang Hai told Jianan that he came from the Douluo Continent and had to return to his family and friends amid a great war.
