The mysterious liquid slowly seeped out like an eerie stream of spring water, yet it carried a deadly corrosiveness.
Wherever it flowed, the ground gradually eroded, giving off hissing sounds and a pungent odor.
"All troops, heed my command! Advance to the hall!"
Qian Fan's voice was firm and decisive. At his command, the soldiers sprang into action.
They swiftly assembled in orderly ranks, ready to face the coming challenge.
Xu Yuan'er clung tightly to Qian Fan's arm, her eyes filled with worry and reluctance to let him go.
She said softly, "Brother Qian Fan, you must stay safe. I'll wait here for you to come back."
Qian Fan looked at her, a trace of tenderness flashing in his eyes. He gently patted her head to reassure her that he would be careful.
Qian Fan led the soldiers into the hall, where a powerful corrosive aura rushed toward them.
They watched their surroundings warily.
Just then, a voice suddenly rang out.
"Brother Qian Fan, we meet again."
The voice was followed by an imposing army from the Dragon Clan.
Qian Fan turned and saw that the speaker was Long Aotian, the Dragon Clan's young master.
Qian Fan's gaze turned cold. He had not expected Long Aotian to appear here.
"Long Aotian, what are you doing here?" Qian Fan demanded sharply.
Long Aotian laughed heartily. "Qian Fan, this time I've brought the Dragon Clan's finest troops. They're more than capable of handling any strange phenomenon."
Long Aotian looked smugly at Qian Fan, seemingly flaunting his strength.
Qian Fan smiled.
"It's only an army led by a worthless fool. How strong could it possibly be?"
Long Aotian's face instantly turned the purple-red of pig liver with rage.
"Looks like it's quite lively here."
Another large army arrived.
At its head was Su Tian, the young master of the Xuanwu Clan.
Su Tian's arrival complicated the situation further, and Qian Fan's heart sank.
"Su Tian, what have you come here for?" Qian Fan fixed him with a piercing stare.
Su Tian answered with a smile, "I heard there was a strange phenomenon here. Naturally, I couldn't miss it. Who knows? There might be some treasure hidden within."
Qian Fan sneered. "You've all come for this mysterious liquid, haven't you? But it's extraordinarily dangerous, not something you can lay your hands on so easily."
Long Aotian cut in disdainfully, "Qian Fan, don't think you're the only one capable of protecting this land. If we join forces, we'll surely uncover this mysterious liquid's secrets."
Qian Fan said with a resolute gaze, "I don't need your help. This is my responsibility, and I'll shoulder it alone."
At that moment, the mysterious liquid suddenly began churning violently, radiating light in every direction. Everyone was startled and watched its transformation anxiously.
Even the members of the Taotie Clan lurking in the shadows were shocked.
Qian Fan sensed a powerful surge of energy and realized something was wrong. "Everyone, be careful!" he shouted.
The mysterious liquid's light grew increasingly dazzling. Suddenly, a group of enormous monsters burst out of it. They bared their fangs and brandished their claws, exuding a terrifying aura.
Long Aotian and Su Tian were stunned. They had thought this was merely an ordinary strange phenomenon, never expecting it to unleash such powerful monsters.
They were a terrifying kind of monster-Abyssal Death Warriors. Their bodies were shrouded in shadow, flickering in and out of sight, sending chills down everyone's spines.
The Abyssal Death Warriors' skin was a sickly gray, as though it symbolized death itself. Their eyes gleamed with an eerie red light, revealing boundless malice and murderous intent. Their bodies were tall and twisted, their sharply defined muscles brimming with strength.
These monsters moved swiftly and nimbly, flitting through the darkness like phantoms.
Their weapons were razor-sharp claws and pointed teeth that gleamed coldly, capable of easily tearing through steel and flesh. The Abyssal Death Warriors' attacks were swift and deadly. Once they locked onto someone, escape was nearly impossible.
Unlike ordinary monsters, the Abyssal Death Warriors possessed a mysterious dark power. They could manipulate darkness and distort the surrounding light, plunging people into endless fear and despair. Within their domain, everything was shrouded in darkness, and light became faint and powerless.
Through his Soul Power, Qian Fan sensed that these monsters were generally between level fifty and sixty.
All four factions went to war against the monsters at once.
