In the boundless starry sky, enormous fireballs more than a million li in diameter floated and burned, releasing endless light and heat while studding what should have been darkness with points of starlight.
Beneath those countless stars, mineral planets revolved around them. Among these innumerable mineral planets, one or two would occasionally give birth to life through a fortuitous twist of fate, slowly evolving into small planetary planes.
Beyond these planets, however, an even more wondrous sight appeared in the cosmos: immense worlds.
Some of these worlds had round heavens and square earths, while others resembled planets. They varied in size, but their greatest distinction was that their inhabitants did not rely entirely on stars to survive.
Although some worlds revolved around stars, their sheer size was not far short of the stars themselves.
Some were even far larger than stars, with a miniature star circling above the vault of their heavens.
"Humm!"
At some unknown moment, a streak of white light suddenly shot out of a patch of nothingness.
The instant that white light burst forth, a vast world could faintly be seen emerging from the pitch-black void. A moment later, however, that immense world vanished.
Only the streak of white light remained, hurtling swiftly in one direction.
Only upon closer inspection could one discover that, in the direction the white light was traveling, an enormous world countless times vaster than all the others lay at the center of those stars.
Before this gigantic world, planets, stars, and even those immense, strangely shaped worlds all seemed as insignificant as fireflies.
Viewed from a higher dimension, stars and great worlds alike could be seen slowly revolving around this colossal world.
Like the core of the Milky Way, it held everything around it firmly in its gravitational embrace.
