"Xiao Hua?"
Cao Bing opened the door and found Luo Feng's younger brother, Luo Hua, outside.
"Brother Cao, my brother asked me to invite you over to our house for dinner," Luo Hua said from his wheelchair.
"Sure!" Cao Bing agreed on the spot. Mother Luo's cooking was quite good—at least far better than his own.
He would not have to order takeout for himself again.
Besides, frequently going to Luo Feng's house to mooch meals would also help strengthen their friendship, wouldn't it?
"How could we make you come all this way, Xiao Hua? Where's Luo Feng?" Cao Bing asked.
"My brother seems to be facing some trouble. Brother Cao, you should go take a look," Luo Hua said, scratching his head awkwardly as he looked at Cao Bing.
"Trouble?" Cao Bing could not help feeling puzzled. Still, he did not think much of it. He locked his door and walked behind Luo Hua's wheelchair.
"I'll push you."
"Thank you, Brother Cao."
"We're family. Why be so polite?" Cao Bing said.
Luo Feng's home.
"Little Cao, you're here!"
The moment Cao Bing entered, Father Luo and Mother Luo warmly welcomed him.
"Uncle, Auntie!" Cao Bing politely greeted Luo Feng's parents.
"Have a seat first, Little Cao. Dinner will be ready soon!" Mother Luo said with a loving smile.
"Don't worry, Auntie. Go ahead and keep busy. I need to see Luo Feng about something," Cao Bing replied with a smile.
"Alright, alright. Your Martial Artist matters have nothing to do with us. Just remember to come downstairs for dinner later!" Mother Luo said before returning to the kitchen to focus wholeheartedly on cooking.
When he arrived at Luo Feng's room, he found the door open. Luo Feng was sitting at his computer, fiddling with it.
"Luo Feng." Cao Bing knocked on the door and called out.
"Brother Cao, you're here!" Luo Feng lifted his head, and when he saw Cao Bing, he immediately said in delighted surprise.
"You were looking for me, Luo Feng?" Cao Bing asked. Without ceremony, he plopped down beside Luo Feng.
"Hehe." Luo Feng scratched his head awkwardly before saying, "Brother Cao, I want to buy some equipment, but I don't have enough contribution points. So I was hoping you could help me out."
"Easy! You should've said so earlier. Tell me what you want to buy," Cao Bing said readily.
"Brother Cao, I've picked out a Blood Shadow Saber, a Combat Suit, and several throwing knives." As Luo Feng spoke, he opened the pages for those pieces of equipment.
"Luo Feng, your strength has improved quite well! You can already use an A6-grade saber!" Cao Bing joked. He directly took Luo Feng's computer, logged into his own account, and placed the order.
"Thank you, Brother Cao!" Luo Feng said gratefully.
"What are you thanking me for? Didn't I come to your house to mooch a meal?" Cao Bing said, waving his hand.
"Haha, Brother Cao, if you want, you can come eat at my house every day. My parents would be more than happy to have you!" Luo Feng said with a laugh.
"Alright! Then I won't stand on ceremony!" Cao Bing laughed heartily. There was no way he would refuse something like this. He would have a long-term meal ticket and could deepen his friendship with Luo Feng at the same time. Only an idiot would turn that down!
Afterward, Cao Bing and Luo Feng discussed Martial Artist training for a while. They only reluctantly ran downstairs to eat when Mother Luo came up to call them after finishing the meal.
During dinner, Cao Bing got along well with Luo Feng's family. Their warm hospitality gave him a rare sense of peace and happiness.
Early the next morning, Cao Bing received the package sent by Limitless Martial Arts. After giving Luo Feng his share, Cao Bing hurried back home and began studying the cultivation method of the Nine Layered Thunder Saber.
Yet after reading only the first layer, Cao Bing froze.
This Nine Layered Thunder Saber truly deserved its reputation as the hardest saber technique in the world to train. Merely its first layer already felt more difficult to Cao Bing than the Flame Splitting Saber he had learned before.
One had to know that when Cao Bing had trained in the Flame Splitting Saber, he had reached the minor mastery realm in just two months across both worlds. Yet for the first layer of the Nine Layered Thunder Saber, Cao Bing felt that he would never master it in less than two months. That was only because the Ten Step Fist he had trained before shared certain similarities with the Nine Layered Thunder Saber in their methods of storing power.
But fortunately, the Guidance Technique and movement technique paired with the Nine Layered Thunder Saber will be enough to increase my cultivation speed severalfold. Even if I can't master the saber technique by then, my physical fitness alone may not be inferior to anyone else's, Cao Bing thought.
Of course, while the Nine Layered Thunder Saber was powerful, Cao Bing did not believe the Flame Splitting Saber and Flying Shadow Steps had become useless.
At the very least, the Nine Layered Thunder Saber lacked methods for circulating energy through the meridians. In Cao Bing's view, if he could combine the meridian circulation methods from the Stellar Transformation World with an ultimate saber technique like the Nine Layered Thunder Saber, there was a strong possibility that he could raise the Nine Layered Thunder Saber's upper limit and greatly increase its power.
Of course, this was only Cao Bing's speculation. He had not even mastered the first layer of the Nine Layered Thunder Saber yet, so discussing modifications to the cultivation method was still far too early. In Cao Bing's opinion, if he truly wanted to modify it, he would at least need to train the Nine Layered Thunder Saber to its first five layers and understand some of its essence before attempting any changes.
Otherwise, he might create something neither fish nor fowl and even injure himself.
Even with the Tongtian Diagram and the Guidance Technique of the Nine Layered Thunder Saber, I can't abandon the cultivation methods of the Stellar Transformation World either. Cao Bing laid out every cultivation method he had learned before him.
He carefully considered the strengths and weaknesses of each cultivation method, working out a feasible plan for his training.
As I see it, training the human body is nothing more than cultivating Essence, Qi, and Spirit. Among them, the Guidance Techniques of the Devouring Starry Sky World cultivate one's constitution—the physical body—which is the Essence within Essence, Qi, and Spirit.
As for the cultivation methods in the Stellar Transformation World, whether they train martial inner energy or immortality cultivation, they are all essentially methods for cultivating the spiritual energy of heaven and earth. That is the so-called Qi.
And Spirit within the human body is actually quite simple. If I'm not mistaken, it refers to the soul. Although I still don't know how to cultivate it for now, I think Mental Masters are actually one manifestation of the human Spirit. If I can awaken it, then by cultivating Essence, Qi, and Spirit together, I'll have no weaknesses!
Perhaps once I make some progress in the Stellar Transformation World and enter the Immortal Realm, I can obtain a method for cultivating the soul. At that point, perhaps I can use that method to awaken psychic power, allowing me to cultivate both psychic power and soul secret arts together.
Cao Bing's eyes flickered as he pondered.
Spirit is still too distant a matter for me. I should focus on the present first. Even with traveling between two worlds, I still don't have enough time to train. For now, I should focus on the Guidance Technique of the Nine Layered Thunder Saber and use the Tongtian Diagram as support.
I'll train the Flame Fire Art secondarily, ensuring that my inner energy can keep up with my physical fitness. As for saber techniques and movement techniques, I can practice them through real combat in the wilderness later. That will improve me faster.
As for the Phantom Blade Technique, I'll wait and see. It can serve as support for the Nine Layered Thunder Saber. Once I enter real combat, it won't matter which of the two saber techniques takes the lead and which supports the other—my progress will definitely be swift!
