She stretched out both hands. They seemed to have been carved from jade, translucent and lustrous, with a faint sheen that suggested boundless power within.
With a sharp cry, Xiao Wu actually tried to catch the blade with her bare hands.

The blade ground violently against her palms, and terrifying shock waves swept in every direction.
"Catching the Dao-Slaying Sword bare-handed? Impressive."
Terrifying slaughtering power surged from the blade toward Xiao Wu's hands.
Crack! Crack!
Under that terrifying force, Xiao Wu's feet broke through the earth and sank into it, and her face flushed slightly.
"Not quite enough!" Xiao Wu gritted her teeth and unleashed another divine ability.
Her right hand suddenly rose, its five slender, fair fingers flashing with keen saber light like five peerless blades.
Crack!
The blade collided violently with Xiao Wu's arm, sending sparks flying!
Metal rang against metal, their figures crossed, and fleeting images flashed past.
The force of their battle grew ever greater, each collision causing the void to explode.
Blood from Xiao Wu's hands ran down her arms, staining her clean skirt red. Drops of blood fell onto her snow-white skin, looking hauntingly beautiful.
Cuts already crisscrossed both her hands.
Long Xiao flicked a finger, sending a Level-Twelve Formation Plate flying out. A Level-Twelve Grand Formation slowly rose, blocking outside perception while preventing Xiao Wu from escaping.
"Sword of Destruction!"
Long Xiao would not give her a chance to catch her breath. With a shout, the golden sword held in both his hands suddenly became terrifying beyond measure, growing from its original size to that of a towering mountain range. Terrifying slaughtering power swept in every direction.
Sword energy soared into the heavens!
The intent of destruction spread, and dark clouds filled the sky amid flashing lightning
