In the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect's meeting hall, Ning Fengzhi, Chen Xin, and Gu Rong had lost all desire to sleep thanks to Ning Rongrong's wailing like ghosts howling and wolves baying.
Ning Fengzhi held a teapot and poured its contents, azure tea gradually filling three white porcelain cups.
He handed two of them to Chen Xin and Gu Rong. The three exchanged slight nods and took gentle sips.
They passed the cups around, and after roughly half the time it took to drink a cup of tea, Ning Fengzhi suddenly spoke. "Uncle Jian, Uncle Gu, do you think Rongrong's dream was something real, or merely a child's fancy?"
Both men set down their cups at his words and thought for a moment.
Chen Xin spoke first. "Although I dote on Rongrong, my view on this matter is that she was probably too tired and let her imagination run wild."
Gu Rong nodded in wholehearted agreement.
Ning Fengzhi's face darkened. Out of twenty-four hours each day, Ning Rongrong spent fewer than three cultivating, and that counted as being too tired?
Fine, you two big shots can just keep spoiling her!
Although Ning Fengzhi thought this, he certainly would not say it aloud.
If he really said that, the Sword and Bone Titled Douluos would surely turn on him. Ning Rongrong was their very lifeblood.
"Uncle Jian, Uncle Gu, I think we should believe it might be true rather than dismiss it outright," Ning Fengzhi said meaningfully.
Gu Rong paused. "Fengzhi, do you really think Rongrong dreamed of things that will happen in the future?"
Neither he, the Bone Douluo, nor Sword Douluo Chen Xin was dead yet. If Ning Rongrong had dreamed of their deaths, those events would have to take place in the future.
Chen Xin also laughed.
