Hu Liena said, "Should we rest a little longer? It's too hot. I feel like my stamina is draining faster now."

As they pressed onward, all of them had expended a considerable amount of stamina.

Hu Liena was the first to reach her limit. Although hers was a beast martial soul, she specialized in Mental Power. When it came to physical strength, she was actually weaker than Xie Yue.

"All right, let's rest a little longer."

Left with no choice, the trio rested for another half hour or so before continuing.

As they walked, a sudden rustling ahead brought all three to a halt.

On the narrow path ahead, a pair of fiery red eyes appeared. They could vaguely make out a dark red body lying there.

They could not tell how enormous its body was, but a cursory look suggested it was a snake.

A snake with its entire body coiled around the narrow path.

Accompanied by that rustling, the dark red snake began slithering slowly forward.

Under the trio's "eager" gazes, the snake finally came fully into view.

There were nine protrusions across its head and back. Each resembled a bright red mushroom, with what looked like blood flowing inside.

The snake's belly was particularly massive, bulging over the narrow path, and its body was at least ten meters long.

They had seen the strange snake, and it had clearly seen them too. Its tongue slowly rose above the narrow path, and its golden-red eyes instantly shone as brightly as lanterns.

"What is that thing?"

Neither Xie Yue nor Yan, both hopeless students, recognized the strange snake. They could only ask Hu Liena, whose grades were slightly better.

Unfortunately, Hu Liena was only half-baked herself, hardly an academic star.

Thus, the three could only stare at one another.
