For the Finals of the All-Continent Advanced Soul Master Elite Tournament, Spirit Hall had specially prepared a competition ground in front of the Pope's Hall. Located at the center of Spirit City, its enormous arena measured a full hundred meters across.
An enormous number of soul tools had been used to reinforce this massive competition platform. To prevent damage, Spirit Hall had also strengthened it through special methods. It was said to withstand any attack from a soul master below the Soul Emperor rank without suffering damage.
Led by a Red-Robed Cardinal of Spirit Hall, all the competitors arrived outside the Pope's Hall. Each academy had its own rest area, built around the competition grounds, while the VIP judges' stand sat opposite the Pope's Hall.
Thirty-three teams participated in the Finals. Among them, three seeded teams had been selected by the Two Great Empires and Spirit Hall respectively. The Finals consisted of five rounds, with one day of rest between each round and the next. Before the fifth and final round, there would even be three days of rest.
The three seeded teams would receive byes in the first round, while the remaining thirty teams competed for fifteen advancement spots. The losers would be eliminated directly. In the second round, the academies that had placed first in the Qualifying Tournaments of the Two Great Empires would receive byes, while sixteen teams competed for eight places in the third round. The second-place teams from the Qualifying Tournaments would receive byes in the third round, leaving the remaining eight teams to compete for four places in the Fourth Round.
This would continue until the final round, when each team would first send out seven members for successive elimination matches in the style of the Qualifying Tournament to determine the strongest team. The
