I saw a reader asking why there wasn't a note about the paid release, so I figured I'd post one separately.
I don't really have that many thoughts to share. If anything, I just want to thank all you lovelies for sticking with the story until today. As a new author, I don't have much experience, and my handling of the plot and characters might not be quite there yet. I hope I can keep working to improve.
Once the story goes paid tomorrow, there should be twelve updates, if I've counted correctly. Though I reckon that will also bring the first volume pretty close to its end.
The second volume won't have much to do with Azkaban. Instead, it'll focus on ancient magic, and its progression might draw on Hogwarts Legacy.

By the way, my editor told me earlier that over a thousand people were keeping up with the latest chapters. Let me dream big for a moment: if first-chapter purchases can top two thousand, I'll turn into a three-updates-a-day beast for December. Though I think that's probably pretty unlikely.
Another thing is the bonus-update rule for this book. I don't really understand recommendation votes, monthly votes, and all that, so let's go with one extra update for every ten thousand in accumulated tips.
I don't know whether that threshold is high. It might be a little high, because after changing jobs, I haven't really had much time to slack off, so I set it a bit higher, hehe.
