The two ancient locust Trees had separate roots, but their branches and leaves tangled together. Their trunks looked as though they had been squeezed hard by someone, flattened somewhat as they pressed together to form a long, narrow crack. Looking inside, it was pitch-black, like a cave leading straight underground, with no end in sight.
Yet Zheng Qing knew perfectly well that the trunks of those two ancient locust Trees were only about a meter in diameter. The gap between them should not have stretched endlessly out of sight. The only explanation was that this narrow crack was the target of his search: the entrance to the Mystic Realm.
