When Zheng Qing regained consciousness, he found that he was not sitting in a classroom, but standing amid a vast expanse of white mist.
Based on experience, the boy quickly determined that he was still dreaming.
He looked himself over.
The mist around him was not very thick, barely covering his ankles. Like a babbling stream, it flowed beneath his feet, cool and slick. Stepping on it felt like stepping on a rubber track—slightly soft, without hurting his feet.
The dream seemed to have glimpsed the boy's thoughts.
The moment he thought of the words "rubber track," the mist before him churned and revealed a dark-red rubber track. In the middle of it stood a black cat, which turned its head and stared at him with a pair of golden-yellow eyes.

The black cat gave a soft cry, then turned and trotted lightly forward.
The powerful sense of déjà vu gave the boy an enormous sense of security. Without much hesitation, he lifted his feet and followed the black cat. Familiar running, a familiar black cat, a familiar rubber track.
After running a short distance with that familiar feeling, another familiar figure appeared before the boy's eyes.
It was Mr. Wu!
The black cat padded along reluctantly to Mr. Wu's feet and hooked his ankle with its tail.
"Oh? You're here?" Mr. Wu glanced down at the black cat, then looked back at the young publicly funded student and raised a hand in greeting. "Since you're here, come stand for a while."
With that, he clasped his hands behind his back and quietly gazed into the distance.
Zheng Qing hurried over to Mr. Wu's side and followed his gaze. Before them remained nothing but white mist, without the slightest scenery to admire.
Perhaps some astonishing secret was hidden within
