The Old Witch in a purple cloak carefully examined the portrait.
It showed a short-haired male wizard in a red robe with a black cat tail; a long-haired female wizard, also in red, with a pair of white cat ears amid her hair; and a grimy gray Doggy with a ferocious, repulsive appearance. Beside it was the word "mew," indicating that the dog could meow like a cat.
"Strangers?"
The Old Witch blinked, her gaze falling on the hair colors of the two young wizards. "Their hair was both black? And they had a dog that could imitate a cat's meow?"
"Yes. They probably hadn't been in this city for long." Zhuzhu's eyes remained fixed on the golden tabby paw poking out from beneath the Old Witch's cloak, but she answered properly, "If you can tell us where they went..."
As she spoke, she pulled a heavy bag of gold from her robes.
She had "borrowed" it while chatting with the dwarf merchant just now.
