The roaring shockwave interrupted the casual conversation among the Senior Councilors beneath the moon atop the tower.
Under the glow of the sky lanterns.
Behemoth raised its two thick forelimbs, clasped its claws into a fist, let out a furious roar, and smashed them down with all its strength. From the top of the tower, they could clearly see a ring of black earth waves spreading outward from the Behemoth Beast like a sandstorm.
Sand and gravel blasted from the ground like cannonballs, whistling through the air as they shot toward the clouds. Hundreds of sky lanterns failed to evade in time and were pierced through by the flying stones, turning into brilliant fireballs in midair.
After the light came darkness, all the more striking.
With hundreds of sky lanterns gone, the sudden contrast between light and shadow, combined with the black dust storm spreading everywhere, cast a heavy veil over the battlefield that had once been clear and bright, leaving it blurred and indistinct.

The parched earth gave off ominous cracking sounds amid the roaring dust storm. Fractures spread outward from Behemoth in every direction, like a massive spiderweb.
Every fissure was bottomless.
"Hell!"
A low, furious roar came from within Behemoth's mountain-like shadow, echoing beside the ears of every wizard in Black Prison Castle. Along with that roar, scorching breaths suddenly surged from the spreading fissures.
Almost at the same moment.
Boom! Boom! Boom!!!
Enormous detonations rang out from the other three directions around Black Prison Castle, like thunder shaking the earth.
