Although Gongsun Bing's fists were not fast, they were powerful.

Each punch of his was like a ritual master dancing in a mud swamp—exceptionally strenuous, yet possessing a strange beauty. The prey trapped in the swamp could only howl in terror, struggling helplessly until, at last, they were crushed apart by the immense pressure and turned into clumps of bloody pulp.

With Gongsun Bing joining the fray, the battle line outside Black Prison Castle swiftly developed in the wizards' favor.

Hunting parties of five crisscrossed the battlefield. Swordsmen wielded greatswords as they charged and fought desperately; Martial Artists radiated surging fighting spirit, their fist intent piercing the sky; Magical Beasts and spirit creatures swept through the flanks. Of course, even more wizards chose the most traditional method: protected by battle formations, they flipped through spellbooks and loudly chanted incantations.

Spell-light flashed in every direction, the multicolored magical radiance nearly eclipsing the light of the two suns in the sky.

The Reserve Force wizards behind the city walls were not merely standing by either. Many assisted the wizard corps at the broken walls, repeatedly casting the Fire Spell to suppress the great willow that the Vice Principal's magic had transformed into a "fire tree," as well as the Kotos Fire Giant bracing itself at the breach.

Even so, the Kotos Giant and the great willow still stubbornly reversed the spells upon them. Brown bark and mottled green shadows had already begun to slowly emerge beneath their feet—without the wizards atop the walls suppressing them, they might have recovered even faster.

Aside from the Bronze Armored Corpse, the other Archwizards on the battlefield, including the other two Archwizard-level Senior Councilors of the Under the Moon Council, also played a major role.

Hun Buyu followed close behind Gongsun Bing and entered the battlefield.
