A small azure bird darted out of the void.

The gazes of several Archwizards and Great Demons fell upon it at once, nearly frightening the poor little thing into passing out. It flapped its wings wildly, its body wobbling crookedly, while its color faded several shades, as though an invisible eraser might wipe it completely out of this world the next second.

Professor Yao promptly extended a hand, allowing the little creature to land on his fingertip.

With the Archwizard's protection, the azure bird finally recovered. Its color stabilized somewhat, and it quickly regained its vigor. Hopping along from fingertip to wrist, arm, and shoulder, it eventually darted to Professor Yao's ear, chirping away for a long while before turning into a ball of Green Flame and vanishing before everyone's eyes.

Invisible divine thoughts echoed and collided in midair, producing a deep hum. The occasional spell flying in from the side was shredded by those humming sounds before it could reach the Archwizards and Great Demons.

"A message from the Divination Group?"

The other three deans all looked toward Professor Yao.

"Azure Bird Delivering a Letter, secretly conveying news beyond the clouds" was an ancient incantation. The modern contact spell wizards commonly used, "Birdsong Chirping, seeking the call of its companions," had developed from the Azure Bird Incantation.

Professor Yao's indifferent face gave a slight nod. Though not a ripple stirred between his brows, the message carried by his divine thoughts was unsettling.
