In the Moonlight

The late Great Druid Priest Seberk once said that the members of the Dark Council were all wizards living in the cracks of the world.

There was some truth to that statement, but it was not entirely accurate.

Because the clans of the Under the Moon Council had even more ample and compelling reasons to prove to that Arch Druid that they were the true wizards living in the cracks.

Especially the Blood Clan and werewolves. One delighted in fresh blood, the other in raw flesh—habits and traditions that ran counter to conventional wizarding morality, and could almost be seen as symbols of "evil" and "cruelty." Even classifying them as demons would not seem inappropriate. Many old-fashioned wizards had always opposed admitting these Moon Clan members into the alliance, trying to place them in the same category as magical creatures like centaurs and merfolk.

Yet the reason the Under the Moon Council remained the Under the Moon Council, one of the three pillars of the Wizard Alliance, untroubled by the denunciations of stubborn conservative wizards, was that whenever the need arose, the Under the Moon Council could always provide the Wizard Alliance with one additional legendary combatant.

The five Senior Councilors of the Under the Moon Council could, under the witness of their ancient covenant and through primordial magic, bring forth an existence with legendary strength.

The Moon.

It was born from the beliefs of the Moon Clan, with no independent will of its own. Its true form was a full moon. Wherever its moonlight shone, it greatly strengthened the recovery, combat power, and magical potency of Creatures of the Night, while suppressing all beings hostile to the moon.

At the same time, as a legend, it possessed the powers held by every other legend.

Such as creating worlds.
