The enormous skeletal giant wore splendid robes, a longsword at its waist. Head held high, it stared directly at the boundless Profound Yellow descending from the heavens. The bone relic between its brows bloomed with hazy clear light, joining with the Profound Yellow Qi between heaven and earth to divide the entire world into two distinct layers, above and below. Like two massive millstones, they rumbled as they ground away everything in the world.

The Yellow Flower Cat lay sprawled beside the rim of a teacup. Through the tranquil surface of the water, it stared at the two colors reflected within, listening to the melodious incantation sung by the skeletal giant and sensing the needle-to-wheat-grain confrontation between the Heaven and Earth Profound Yellow Great Array and "Taiyi." After a long while, it finally flicked its tail. The whiskers by its mouth trembled as it spoke with a hint of disdain:
"What... that's all? And they dared claim they'd mastered a Forbidden Curse?"
"They gave me quite a scare!"
"The Dark Council really was a bunch of people who lacked experience... If that counted as a Forbidden Curse, then wouldn't that black cat from the Relevant Department count as one too?"
"In a sense, that cat did indeed qualify as a Forbidden Curse."
From beneath the pages covering his face, Mr. Wu's voice drifted from the recliner some distance away, muffled and heavy. "The reason it was able to leave the 2D World back then was because of a Forbidden Curse... Of course, its Forbidden Curse belonged to the 2D World."
