When the three young hunters of the You Zui Hunting Team were swept into the Sandbox Small World.
Several blocks away.
Sanyou Bookstore.
The Yellow Flower Cat nimbly jumped onto the display window, stretching its head out to peer outside. The glass flattened its furry face, while the window frame creaked and groaned, as though the display window would be crushed by the tabby cat the very next second.
But that expected next second never came.
No matter how the tabby cat pressed itself against the glass like a pancake, the display window remained as steady as a mountain. Even the dust on the frame did not stir, as if every concept related to this room had been frozen at a certain moment.
The Yellow Flower Cat jumped down from the window in frustration, bouncing from one corner of the room to another like an out-of-control cannonball. It darted back and forth between several bookshelves and the front counter, knocking over countless books, pen holders, vases, and other decorations along the way—though even in this helpless rage, it did not dare scratch the bookstore owner lying in the recliner.
After all, the old man was in a somewhat delicate state right now. With only this slight connection to the world remaining, who knew whether concepts like "joking" or "playing around" still existed in His consciousness?
When the tabby cat stopped to catch its breath and looked back, the pen holder it had just sent flying was once again sitting securely on the counter. The books it had overturned lay neatly back on the shelves, and the vases, cups, and everything else—even those it had deliberately smashed on the floor—had returned to normal. Not even a drop of tea was missing from the cups.
It immediately felt a trace of dejection.
