The first to take shape were the yellow lines.
Their color was the deepest. Radiating outward from the central region of the sand table, they outlined the direction and contours of the main mountain ranges in the Xuanhuang Small World.
The lines wound and twisted like the skeleton of the earth.
In some places, the lines were thick, plump, and rounded—solid and weighty. They represented continuous mountain ranges with broad ridgelines. In others, the lines were narrow and sharp, their brushstrokes as keen as knife cuts. One glance was enough to tell that the ridges there were steep on both sides, forming perilous mountain spines. Still others curled into clusters of irregular blocks. In geology, these were called mesas: ancient highlands uplifted by crustal movement and then weathered flat by the wind.
Near those solid yellow lines, countless yellow dotted lines crisscrossed in all directions. They were like the shadows of the solid lines, running parallel to them, intersecting and intertwining.
These dotted lines were the Earth Vein network that the You Zui Hunter Team had painstakingly sorted out, one vein at a time, over the past ten years.
Immediately after the yellow lines, green lines began to emerge.
Their strokes were finer and softer than the yellow lines, like marks painted with an extremely fine brush dipped in spring water.
These green lines wound through the gaps between the mountain ranges represented by the solid yellow lines. They almost overlapped with the yellow dotted lines, yet wherever they overlapped, they sprouted dense branches, spreading across the entire sand table like blood vessels.
The green lines represented the Golden Crow Wood Forest Belt.
They were a web of life planted tree by tree with the hunters of Youzui's own hands.
Every green line ended at a small black dot. When
