Two thick branches thrust out from the side like arms, blocking the eagerly rushing Furry Dragon. Furry Dragon had to brake sharply to barely avoid crashing into those two branches, which looked immensely sturdy.
Of course, their so-called "sturdiness" referred only to the aura emanating from the exposed sections of those branches. In Xiao Xiao's view, they were actually only about five feet thick.
To Big Mao, they were merely two thin sticks.
But to the young wizards riding on the dragon's back, those branches were still very thick.

Big Mao coiled up and stopped uncertainly before the two branches. Seeing that they did not move, it cautiously shifted left, intending to slip through the gap on that side. Yet another branch immediately blocked its path. When it went up, the branch went up; when it went down again, the branch followed it down.
