With the little elves' help, Zheng Qing finally completed the nearly impossible task—recovering Fatty Xin's storage watch from Fat Cat Tuantuan's paws.
"These little elves really were a tremendous help!" Fatty Xin was so grateful that he could barely contain it. "They must be rewarded! We absolutely cannot mistreat our meritorious heroes..."
"But the chaos they caused was no less than that fat cat's!" Dylan held up a crucible of boiling blood, scooping up half-congealed clots with a small Copper Ladle and slurping them down like jelly as he angrily denounced them. "Look what they did to my precious virgin blood! If they could talk, I'd definitely have a proper argument with them!"
"This is the first time I've heard of a male having virgin blood." Clearly displeased by Dylan's attack on the little elves, Fatty Xin immediately stepped forward to speak for his "benefactors," ruthlessly mocking the Vampire Werewolf's claim.
"Is that what I meant?" Dylan's eyes widened, and two tiny, deathly pale fangs immediately showed at the corners of his mouth. He glared at Fatty Xin threateningly, his gaze unfriendly.
"Who knows whether that's what you meant..." Fatty Xin rolled his strange eyes and, refusing to yield, folded his arms over his chest. Then he raised his chin, and a faint bluish tint appeared on his face.
"Mm, don't argue. Neither of you." Zheng Qing rubbed his temple with a headache, helplessly sighing inwardly as he watched the two sides square off. The little elves who had just rendered great service sat on the young publicly funded student's shoulders and head, wrapping themselves in their translucent wings. Their dark little eyes watched the wizards compete in intimidation with curious expressions, as if they were enjoying a show—Zheng Qing felt that all they lacked were a bucket of popcorn
