"Is this, is this our destination?"
"It should be here, but I think..."
"It either is or it isn't. What's with all this thinking!"
"I mean..."
"Don't crowd me. Let me take another look. This should be the place!"
"If it's right, then get out. Why are you blocking the hole?"
"I think, since we're new here, perhaps we should be a little more polite..."
"Polite? They aren't mice. Why should we be polite to them?"
"Because there's a big cat outside."
A chorus of shrill chatter came from the abruptly appeared hole in the corner of the wall. In only moments, the previously quiet corner of the shop had turned into a marketplace, while four or five Rat Heads popped out of the hole like mushrooms after rain.
The Rat Heads had originally been shoving and jostling one another, none willing to give way, as though their spittle and nonsense would fly forever once unleashed. Only when one of them spotted the huge fat cat crouching on the counter and glaring at them did the scene come under control and quiet down somewhat.
"I heard cats like eating mice?" The mouse in front, wearing a Green Vest, turned around and warned his companions in a low voice. "Remember, lower your heads. Don't ever look it in the eyes."
"So that's a cat? It's my first time seeing a live cat!" Another short, somewhat shrill-voiced mouse struggled to poke his head out from beneath his companions. The whiskers by his mouth trembled wildly, and his tiny eyes rolled around excitedly. "Can I go over and touch it? Or ask it to sign my extracurricular activity form?"
"If you want to go home lying down, you can give it a try." The mouse in front sighed deeply, and even the whiskers
