Shi Teng grew stronger through system rewards, trained Shi Hao, and led him from Stone Village into the Great Wilderness, where they joined Xia Youyu’s expedition and defeated powerful beasts. The brothers reached Vermilion Bird City, where Shi Teng’s clash with Su Yi ended when the Marquis of Zhenyuan intervened and questioned him.

• Shi Teng awakened the primordial azure dragon body after the Willow Deity’s branch brushed the brothers, then received the Azure Sky Dragon Transformation Art and began cultivating in Stone Village.
• Shi Teng protected Stone Village, brought a Two-Headed Fire Rhinoceros and its calf back to provide milk for Shi Hao, and gave the villagers seeds that quickly sprouted.
• Shi Teng helped Shi Hao escape the Green-Scaled Eagle, obtained its Treasure Bone, and gave Shi Hao the Azure Sky Treasure Technique.
• Shi Teng met Huo Ling'er in the Great Wilderness, fought Demon Spirit Lake cultivators and Young Master Golden Spider, then brought Huo Ling'er back to Stone Village and shared wine with the Fire Emperor.
• The Willow Deity taught Shi Teng the Five Emperors Great Demon Divine Ability, while Shi Teng gave Shi Hao an ancient desolate sacred body and taught cultivation arts to the village children and adults.
• Shi Teng and Shi Hao joined Xia Youyu’s group at Qilin Cavern, where Shi Hao killed a Ten-Headed Blazing Sun Serpent and Shi Teng subdued the Fire Qilin as his mount.
• Shi Teng and Shi Hao left Xia Youyu’s group for Vermilion Bird City, where Shi Teng fought Su Yi, took the Sun-Shooting Divine Bow, and was confronted by the Marquis of Zhenyuan.
