After crying his fill, Ren Tao felt much lighter.
For the first time, the little Evil Spirit Orcas discovered that their big brother had such a vulnerable side. At a time like this, only they could comfort him and stay by his side to protect him. Suddenly, they understood how he felt when he protected them.
Their leader could not take risks. If anything happened to Ren Tao, even if they survived, they would spend the rest of their lives in despair.
They gathered one beside another, their enormous bodies linked head to tail, and sang in unison. It was a song unique to Evil Spirit Orcas.
When that song rang out at the same frequency, it signified their vow to stand together without distinction and protect one another.
Most of the time, however, this treatment was reserved for baby orcas.
Now Ren Tao got to enjoy it too.
"Big brother, we shouldn't have misunderstood you!"
Hu Dong was the first to speak up. "You have your own difficulties too. We're soul beasts. We have no right to take revenge on humans!"
The subject was rather heavy, and Ren Tao did not want to discuss it further. He could only change the topic. "No matter what, I promise they'll all receive the punishment they deserve, including the Demon Soul Great White Sharks! And I promise that no one will ever hurt the Evil Spirit Orca Group again!"
