Brad stood on a street in New York, spread his hands, and closed his eyes. An invisible ripple spread outward from his body.
Those ripples changed everything around Brad. The asphalt beneath his feet became worn and riddled with cracks, while the pedestrians' stylish clothes turned into dusty, old-fashioned coats.
A specially designed mask appeared on everyone's face, and their once-bright eyes grew dull and lifeless.
Throughout the streets and alleys, some shops vanished entirely as the ripples passed, as though they had never existed. Others suddenly appeared, as though they had long been established in the city.
"I'm fucking amazing."
Brad alone remained untouched by the ripples' rewriting. The immense timequake produced by reality's upheaval swept over him, only to slide off the bubble-like membrane surrounding his body.
"Since creating the rift reality, this is the first time I've rewritten an entire reality, changed the fundamental nature of an entire universe, erased a single universe's history from the multiverse's records, and added a new universe reshaped by my will."
"Update the files."
Brad gave the order casually. At the Main Camp Base, a group of visibly stunned Brads were revising the file for Number 10011. A new term appeared.
"Cancerverse."
Everything in this universe was filled with an unpredictable madness, much like cancer cells. Cancer referred not only to the universe's terminal condition, but also to its impending role as Brad's starting point for declaring war on Earth-616 and the mysterious "Manager."
The moment the timequake ended completely, Brad dismissed the bubble and took out the communicator the Avengers of the now-vanished Earth-10011 had given him. A new message was flashing.
"Mar-Vell doesn't have much time left."
Everyone was still the same person as before, yet none of them were any longer the people Brad had known on Earth-10011.
