Brad left the somewhat oppressive space with the Doomsday pellet, then took out the Space-Time Pen and opened a gateway to another parallel universe in front of him.
Passing through the gateway, Brad did not emerge on some parallel Earth. Instead, he stepped straight into deep space.
About half a light-year away, a gigantic meteorite drifted aimlessly through the universe. A tiny golden speck glittered on its surface. That was the target Brad had come to find.
As Brad approached the meteorite, the golden speck began to react, flickering more and more frequently.

...Who is approaching me? A human...
...No, humans cannot survive in space, yet every one of my scanning organs tells me you are human.
Strange."
The golden speck unfolded just as Brad floated down beside it.
It was a seamless golden humanoid, without a single joint or gap anywhere on its body apart from its pitch-black, crystal-like eyes.
It was, in fact, an artificially intelligent mechanical being.
Its origins were much like Doomsday's. Doomsday had been cultivated by Kryptonian scientists, while it had been built by an Earth scientist.
One was a weapon of flesh and blood, the other a combat machine, and both possessed the potential for infinite evolution.
Golden Amazo.
Amazo was a classic DC villain. Information about Amazo could be found in three of the four worlds Brad had previously visited.
It could copy every ability of any combat-capable person it saw. Yes, even Batman.
If someone had superpowers, it copied those powers. If they did not, it copied their tactical thinking and fighting style.
This Golden Amazo had evolved after copying every superhero on Earth, then venturing into the universe and copying the most advanced technologies of several civilizations.
